Meet Jamshid! Jamshid is a stunning ginger-and-white floof with a big personality and an even bigger voice!
This handsome boy loves to chatter, chirp, and narrate his day as he goes about enjoying the comforts of indoor life. He came from an outdoor rural community of ginger cats that we helped this Spring, and he quickly made it clear that he much prefers soft beds, full food bowls, and human attention over life outdoors.
Jamshid is currently being fostered with his best friend Nazanin (also available), and they would be thrilled to find a home together. However, he would also do well with another playful, friendly cat or older kitten who enjoys energetic play sessions followed by grooming and cuddle time. He absolutely adores his feline companions and is often found snuggled up with Nazanin and sometimes Whirl (also available).
In a new home, Jamshid will be timid at first and will appreciate a safe room while he settles in. Once he feels secure, his sweet and affectionate nature begins to shine. The fastest way to win him over is definitely through food—this boy is wonderfully food motivated and not at all picky!
Jamshid loves batting around toys, watching birds from the cat tree, and chatting with his people in the most adorable chirps and trills. He has not yet met dogs or children in foster care, but with slow, respectful introductions, he may adjust well to older cat-savvy kids and a calm, gentle dog.
When Jamshid arrived in rescue, he needed a lion cut because his beautiful coat was severely matted. His gorgeous golden fur is now growing back in, and he’s only going to get fluffier and more magnificent with time. If you’re looking for a playful, food-loving, chirpy companion with movie-star floof potential, Jamshid is ready to charm his way into your heart.

The adoption fee includes a health check, first vaccination in a series and any that become due while in care, first anti-parasite treatments needed in care, spay or neuter and microchip at our Veterinary partner. There is a 10% discount when you adopt 2 cats/kittens. The adopter will be responsible for any vaccine or boosters, anti-parasite treatments that are needed after adoption. Kittens usually need 3 vaccines, one month apart starting at age 7 weeks. Juveniles and Adult cats usually require 2 vaccines one month apart in the first year, then annual vaccines. Deworming is recommended at the time of each vaccine appointment. If you are intending to adopt, please be aware that your Veterinary clinic may be experiencing backlogs in scheduling appointments, so do not delay calling your clinic to book your new cat's needed booster appointment(s). Please note that cats are not tested for FIV/FeLV nor can FIP be predicted. We will share any medical information gathered during our health checks and observations revealed during their time in care. But it is important to know that some illnesses can have an incubation period of 10 days, which means that a cat can leave in good health but get sick a few days post adoption. In addition, the stress of a new environment can affect a cats’ immune system.
