Will the cat hide in a new environment?

Hello, my name is Tipper. I am quite sure who is in charge here. Any idea of whom it might be?! I am looking for another residence where I can expand my playground. If chosen, you will be entertained with my joyful demeanour, my perfect cat show walking style, my expressive bushy tail, my funny facial expressions, my hilarious contortionist fake attack moves and my amazing night manners (I will let you sleep). I would appreciate someone who is ready to play with me and is very tidy in the kitchen - If you leave food, I will find it.

Foster Notes: Tipper is a very confident and playful cat. He needs room to be able to run (zoomies), and reachable higher spots where he can climb (he loves the top of the fridge where he can supervise all the activities). He does play hide and seek, creates parkours through out the house (from tunnel, to couch, to coffee table, to window sill, to table, to counter, to top of fridge, to top of cupboards - rinse and repeat about 3 times a day) and loves being around people for part of the day. For the other part, he finds a comfortable spot, in the open, and sleeps. He is one of the most entertaining cats I have ever had the pleasure to know. Regarding other animals, it is likely he gets along with other cats as he came from a situation where he was in contact with a few others. Regarding dogs, he has recently been slowly introduced and he isn't afraid, to the contrary, he is fairly dominant. We haven't establish with certitude his ability to adapt to a dog but with patience, he should be able to. He will likely be the dominant pet in the house. Tipper is not aggressive but he plays hard and gives it his all. He has never hurt his foster parent but will grab hands with his paws and mouth. He also is an escape risk, as he is very interested in what is on the other side of the door. So older children are recommended. He is very food motivated and would need someone committed to maintain an healthy weight. His adopter would likely find it easier to put him in another room when preparing food or sitting down to a meal, unless you want to share. We advise kitty-proofing the food pantries.

ADOPTION FEE: The adoption fee is $225.00 (which includes a health check, first vaccination in a series and any that become due while in care, first anti-parasite treatments needed in care, spay or neuter and microchip at our Veterinary partner). There is a 10% discount when you adopt 2 cats/kittens. The adopter will be responsible for any vaccine or boosters, anti-parasite treatments that are needed after adoption. Kittens usually need 3 vaccines, one month apart starting at age 7 weeks. Juveniles and Adult cats usually require 2 vaccines one month apart in the first year, then annual vaccines. Deworming is recommended at the time of each vaccine appointment. If you are intending to adopt, please be aware that your Veterinary clinic may be experiencing backlogs in scheduling appointments, so do not delay calling your clinic to book your new cat's needed booster appointment(s). Please note that cats are not tested for FIV/FeLV nor can FIP be predicted. We will share any medical information gathered during our health checks and observations revealed during their time in care. But it is important to know that some illnesses can have an incubation period of 10 days, which means that a cat can leave in good health but get sick a few days post adoption. In addition, the stress of a new environment can affect a cats’ immune system.
