Macaroon

DSH, Black & White, est. DOB May 13, 2018

Hi, I’m Mac and I’m looking for my forever home! I’m a 1 year old black and white medium haired adorable boy. I am still learning how to play, but I love crawling up onto the lap of my foster parent for chin scratches, I’ll even roll over for you to rub my belly!. I have no issues getting picked up, I greet my foster dad with little chirps and meows to ask for attention. I love treats and wet food, but will eat dry food no problem. I am a bit of a slow eater so I prefer when dad leaves food out around the clock. I prefer napping on the couch or sunbathing over running and zooming about. When I’m nervous I nibble on my kibble and meow, but I’ve been getting more and more relaxed. I can’t wait for you to take me home!

Foster notes:

Mac is a loveable little guy. He’s fairly quiet aside from when hes trying to get your attention for pets or food. Mac likes nothing more than being curled up nearby relaxing. He is a slow eater, and a nervous eater so leaving kibble out is optimal. Mac is a huge cuddle bug that loves to get brushed and petted. He will do well in a fairly quiet home.

MEDICAL NOTES:

Macaroon has tested positive for FELV+. Feline leukemia is a disease that only affects cats -- it cannot be transmitted to people, dogs, or other animals. FeLV is passed from one cat to another through saliva, blood, and to some extent, urine and feces.. Therefore, Macaroon should be the only cat in the home unless resident cats are also positive for FELV.
