MY STORY:

Hello! My name is Jingle Bell. I used to live outside with my siblings and relatives in a small rural town south of the city. We were fed by an elderly lady but one day late last fall she got sick and couldn't care for us anymore. Within the space of a few days, a team of angels swooped in and caught us all and brought us inside a warm home. It was very scary at first but we all loved the heat, the food and comfy beds. I hid for months along with my best buddy Maple Leaf since we were so scared. I am still quite scared but trying to be brave since I don't want to go outside again. I just need someone to give me a chance.

FOSTER NOTES:

Jingle Bell is a very gentle and sweet guy. He has never been aggressive, just painfully shy and frightened. He now lounges out in the open on the various cat trees and human beds but has yet to allow touching. He is happy to be around his foster mom and dad and will accept treats from their hands. He is nervous of visitors, however, as well as loud noises and sudden movements. He is great with other cats, especially his colony mate Maple Leaf. He is also good with quiet and gentle dogs. He is happiest looking out the window and watching birds and squirrels in the garden. He would do best in a quiet home with someone who is patient and allows him to take his time building up his confidence.

CAT WHISPERING FAMILY NEEDED:

I am a cat who was born and raised outside. I am loving inside life, with all the perks that come with a family - warmth, food, company, affection and love. However, it takes me a while to trust, and I may hide until I am adjusted. I need a special family, who will take the time to show me the patience, and build my confidence, just like my foster family. It may take me a few weeks buy sometimes, it may be a month or more. I am worth it. I really am, and the great people with the Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue can offer you tips and tricks that helped in my foster home.
