Nardole is a super soft, sweet and gentle charmer that endears himself to everyone who meets him. His affectionate headbutts are so irresistible! He is more human adjacent than a lap cat. Nardole will endure being held for short periods of time; having said that, he's great at having his nails trimmed and LOVES being brushed! He's a super chill guy who might grace you with a " 'Sup dude?" upnod before meowing or giving one of his signature tribble-like chirps. He is spry, engaging, and comes across as much younger than his age, especially during his daily zoomies. Nardole's hobbies include bird-watching, countersurfing (to maintain his personal fitness goals) and sous-chef inspector. He is disappointed that his diet does not allow him food-tasting privileges. While Nardole's finder had cats, a dog and a calm child, his foster has not had the opportunity to observe him in those settings. A calm and consistent environment is likely best for his special needs.
About Me:
Nardole is the healthiest special needs cat you could ever have! He is in remission from diabetes, and needs a low-carb, canned food diet. We highly recommend that he remain on the Veterinary prescription diet Purina DM. Nardole has lost one upper molar at some time previously. The other one needs to be removed. He is also missing the upper canine on one side as well . He is scheduled for dental surgery on January 6, 2025
Notes:
The adoption fee includes a health check, first vaccination in a series and any that become due while in care, first anti-parasite treatments needed in care, spay or neuter and microchip at our Veterinary partner. There is a 10% discount when you adopt 2 cats/kittens. The adopter will be responsible for any vaccine or boosters, anti-parasite treatments that are needed after adoption. Kittens usually need 3 vaccines, one month apart starting at age 7 weeks. Juveniles and Adult cats usually require 2 vaccines one month apart in the first year, then annual vaccines. Deworming is recommended at the time of each vaccine appointment. If you are intending to adopt, please be aware that your Veterinary clinic may be experiencing backlogs in scheduling appointments, so do not delay calling your clinic to book your new cat's needed booster appointment(s). Please note that cats are not tested for FIV/FeLV nor can FIP be predicted. We will share any medical information gathered during our health checks and observations revealed during their time in care. But it is important to know that some illnesses can have an incubation period of 10 days, which means that a cat can leave in good health but get sick a few days post adoption. In addition, the stress of a new environment can affect a cats’ immune system.
